AQHA Harlan

Harlan, a 1951 buckskin stallion, produced 17 AQHA Champions and his offspring
earned 2996 AQHA performance points.

Harlan was an outstanding calf roping horse for his owners, Bob and Joan Robey, and
sired AQHA Superior Cutting horses, calf and team roping horses, and PRCA barrel
racing and roping horses. In fact, Harlan is in the pedigrees of many of today's
performers. Western Horseman's Legends 4 provides an interesting summary of the
accomplishments of this foundation Quarter Horse sire and his descendants.

HARLAN was foaled on October 21, 1951. Bred by Jack and Paul Smith of Indianola,
Oklahoma, Bob and Jo An Robey owned him until his death on May 23, 1973 - all except
for three years.

"He was a good individual and part of our family. He is buried here, in our back yard,"...   Jo An Robey
